Both machines offer integrated cooling to provide convenient and fast removal of unwanted hair with minimal discomfort. Diolaze utilizes a unique 3PC Cooling that provides the ultimate in patient comfort.
Because the laser only treats hairs that are in their active growth phase, multiple laser hair removal treatment sessions are required for full correction. The number of sessions will vary with each patient and body area.
Laser hair removal is intended to provide long lasting or permanent reduction in hair growth.
For women, the lip, chin, bikini and underarm are the most common areas treated. Some women treat their legs, arms, abdomen and breasts. For men, the back, shoulder, upper arms and chest are the most popular areas for laser hair removal. It is possible to treat most areas of the body.
Unfortunately, we are unable to treat blonde, white or grey hair at this time and because of this, laser hair removal is best described as laser hair “reduction.”
For about one month prior to laser hair removal Westport patients should not wax, pluck or dye any hair they wish treated. You can shave as needed up to 72 hours prior to your laser treatment. Please do not sun tan or apply self-tanning products to any areas planned for treatment.
