Join the FaceTite™ Revolution!
At Total Aesthetics, unlike other practices, we offer the entire package of facial rejuvenation. Many younger patients begin with medical skin care and Botox, and keep looking great with IPL and SilkPeel facials plus HydraFacial. We have CoolSculpting and Kybella for submental fullness, and we’re pleased to offer the Silhouette Instalift™. We’ve got the latest fillers to address volume loss plus Sciton’s revolutionary Halo™ – the world’s first hybrid laser, plus resurfacing with ProFractional, erbium and RF-microneedling (with or without PRP). With all this great technology, it’s FaceTite and AccuTite that we’re the most excited about – Dr. O’Connell calls it the first real non-surgical facelift.
Because Facetite is a hybrid procedure, sterility and cleanliness are important – and that’s the way we perform the procedure. Total Aesthetics offers the safety of a nationally accredited surgical facility with the privacy and comfort of a concierge plastic surgery practice. All procedures (including Botox and filler injections) are personally performed by Dr. Joseph O’Connell, a board certified plastic surgeon in Westport with over 35 years of surgical experience including numerous publications in the field of facial plastic surgery.
We understand that facial rejuvenation is a deeply personal and complex subject and Dr. O’Connell spends a significant amount of time with each and every patient to review their anatomy and explain how it has been affected by the aging process. We will develop a comprehensive plan to guide you through the myriad of confusing procedures and help you understand what may best achieve your aesthetic goals while respecting your busy schedule as well as your budget.

FaceTite is a bipolar radiofrequency device manufactured by In Mode that is designed to provide a non-surgical facelift. Their motto is surgical results without surgery. With FaceTite, the skin of the face and neck is tightened by two mechanisms – immediate heat related collagen contraction and neocollagenesis.
FaceTite is an office-based outpatient procedure. A solution of local anesthesia is injected into the treatment area and small incisions (or needle holes) are made in the skin in strategic areas. The FaceTite handpiece is inserted and the tissues are gently heated. Fat can be removed as part of the procedure.
FaceTite is performed with just local anesthesia. Sometimes minor oral tranquilization is used.
Fat removal in the submental area and neck is commonly performed as part of a FaceTite procedure.
One reason for the popularity of FaceTite is because it treats the “sweet-spot” for facial aging – the mid-face and neck.
After a FaceTite treatment patients wear a compression garment for 3 days and then at night for another 5 days or so. Expect some swelling in the first week but bruising is usually minimal or nonexistant.
AccuTite is a smaller version of the FaceTite handpiece that is designed to treat smaller areas. One advantage of AccuTite is that it is inserted through the skin via an 18 gauge needle hole.
AccuTite is particularly useful in the submental/central neck areas but it can be used almost anywhere on the body where tissue shrinkage and neocollagenesis are desired. AccuTite can be used for a non-surgical labiaplasty.
Expect some swelling in the treatment area. Bruising should be minimal.
While both technologies are manufactured by the same company and both are radiofrequency based, FaceTite differs from Morpheus in several important ways. Morpheus is performed without need for anesthesia injections – only topical anesthetic cream is needed. There are no incisions or needle holes required for Morpheus because the procedure is performed from outside-in via microneedling technology. While both FaceTite and Morpheus are designed to tighten skin and trigger neocollagenesis, Morpheus is not as powerful (in terms of efficacy) as FaceTite – because of this, usually a series of three treatments are recommended. The Morpheus recovery period is usually just some redness for about 24 hours or so.
FaceTite is InMode’s companion product to BodyTite.™ Like our bodies, over time our face and neck can develop areas of fatty excess and tissue laxity – and weight loss can actually make things appear worse.
A facelift is still the gold standard but many patients aren’t quite ready to take that step.
Fortunately we now have an innovative and effective, minimally invasive solution to tighten the face and neck. With FaceTite Westport patients have no need for general anesthesia or IV sedation – the procedure is performed in-office with local anesthesia. The incisions are so small that no sutures are required and there’s no need to change your hairstyle because FaceTite and AccuTite are “pony-tail friendly.” Our Westport Facetite procedure is virtually painless, and recovery is quick and easy.
The first step towards a new, beautiful you is to schedule a personal consultation.
